Milkbar returns for 2009 with a re-vamped club night at a different venue; as of now Milkbar will be relocated to Po Na Na's, and has moved from Wednesdays to Thursdays! 10PM - 3AM, £5 entry, £4 NUS all night. Fosters (bottle) £1.50/Double vodka & mixer £3/ Moloko Milk £TBC. The dress code is charity shop chic / tasty vintage knits. Celebrate the return to Uni with Milkbar on the first Thursday of term. Featuring DJ sets from: DJ Mutchy - Playing the best in new electro indie and eighties synth pop. Funny-Bones DJs Jack and Joe, bringing their eclectic mix of 60s psych/surf/soul and some more modern treats as well as Infix - Fresh from his recent stint DJing at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane, Infix (probably Norwich's best DJ) will be remixing your favourite indie songs all over the place. Nick and Anika - Making their Milkbar debuts, the pair will be purveying the finest Riot grrl set you'll hear anywhere in Norwich. Milkbar DJs will of course be playing as well, bringing you the usual selection of 60's beat, garage rock, mod, new wave, post punk, 70’s New York, psych, glam, 80's synth pop, thamesbeat, anti-folk and indiefuzz. This is going to be BIG so be sure to arrive early to avoid the queues. As ever Milkbar photographers will be out in force so dress your retro best for the snaps.
